Force an Order into your Plan

Last Updated: Oct 13, 2016 03:40PM CEST
Now that you’ve made a really nice looking plan that takes into consideration all of your constraints, human variables, and Costs you’re ready to Approve the plan and get it to your Drivers...until a last minute Order comes in. Or a Vehicle breaks down. Or...any number of things.
Force in an Order
(For how to add last minute Orders please see our article, Add a Single Order)

Sometimes you’ll be faced with the problem of not enough Vehicles or too little time to optimally serve all of your Orders. These are considered “Unserved” at this point. You could adjust your Vehicles working time or Capacity to give them more time to have an optimal route - or you can force an Order in yourself.

1. Click the unserved Order on the map (a white dot). An info box will pop up (Tip: You can move this box anywhere on the map!)

2. Click "Plan/ETA"

3. Click "Fit In"

4. A new box will appear. From here, you can select which Vehicle, date, and sequence you want the Order placed.

Doing this will place the Order wherever you want it, regardless of whether it is efficient or not. You are in charge.

Be sure to also hit "Apply Now" to save your work.
