What are Repeatable Routes?

Last Updated: Oct 11, 2016 02:36PM EDT
When your business visits the same basic set of customers every day or week we call that a Repeatable Route. This is a route you need to run over and over again, keeping Orders on the same day and/or with the same Driver. Often, you will add Orders to it if your schedule permits while still keeping the same date/Driver commitments.
WorkWave Route Manager gives you the ability to not only optimize these routes on a one-time or ongoing basis but also insight to how they are running with our WorkWave Route Manager 360 features.

This is common with Service industries but can also happen in the Sales and Delivery industries as well.

You can build Repeatable Routes in WorkWave Route Manager by taking advantage of our Simulations feature. Create and store the routes you want to run again on a per-date basis and send them to Operations when you’re ready to execute them.

At their core, our Repeatable Routes are built using Eligibilities (dates) to keep them on the same day each time you run the plan. Set the dates once and Route Manager will convert them to your current planning horizon.
