What is a Tag?

A Tag is WorkWave Route Manager's term for a skill, or specialization, that makes a Vehicle, or group of Vehicles, the qualified resource to serve an Order.

Does this Order require a Driver who speaks a specific language? Does this Order require a special type of equipment that a Vehicle has? Should this Order only occur on a specific day of the week?

You have the ability to determine if a Tag should be Required or Banned when you add your Orders to Route Manager.

To start, set up Tags when creating your Vehicles. On each Vehicle, only include the Tags that pertain to what that Vehicle can do.
 


Once you have created the Tags on your Vehicles, then you can use those Tags when you add/import your Orders.

If you are Adding a Single Order, you can set your Required and/or Banned Tags in the "Edit Order" pop-up window:


If you are using an Excel sheet to bring your Orders into the planner, you will want to make sure you have columns that match "Required Tags" and/or "Banned Tags" and you will map these columns upon import. 
Note: If you have multiple Tags for your Orders, simply put a comma between them on your spreadsheet.
